Rude Judge Tells 12-Yr-Old To Take Singing Lessons — Watch His Epic Comeback!

If at first you don’t succeed, try, try again.

That’s the lesson now-15-year-old Kyle Tomlinson left with when he auditioned for a spot on “Britain’s Got Talent” in 2014. Receiving four “no” votes and a suggestion to take singing lessons, Kyle didn’t let the dis from David Walliams slow him down, though. Sure, the criticism stung, but the young boy took the advice to heart and returned as a force to be reckoned with.

He walked out and began talking about his last experience on the same stage, “I came a couple years ago and I got told to get a singing teacher,” he recounted to the judges.

“Who told you that?” Alesha asked.

When Kyle pointed to David, the judge looked surprised and more than a little ashamed when everyone started booing! The teen went on to say that he was just 12 when David dished out the harsh advice.

“Back then I thought I was really good, the best thing since sliced bread,” Kyle told The Sun. “But David kind of put me in my place. I was absolutely gutted but he was spot-on what he said. I haven’t looked back since then to be honest.”

And when Kyle began singing, it was very clear that those lessons paid off.

During his audition, he sang an absolutely beautiful rendition of Jeff Buckley’s 1994 cover of “Hallelujah,” as his parents watched on proudly.

In just a few years, Kyle went from receiving four “no” votes to a golden buzzer from the very judge who told him to get singing lessons.
